Review summary

Upon first impression of the ship, I thought it looked old. The food was "Golden Corral" quality, which disappointed me. The shows were cheesy and I left most of them after the first five minutes.

The breakfast and lunch food left much to be desired. If you don't like chicken fingers and cold fries, you are mostly out of luck... those were the best flavored items. Dinner was better, but nothing "high quality". I want to be generous b/c I realize that they are serving 2,000 ppl on the ship, but it just wasn't that great.

The shows were DUMB. Let's just say that one of them had a talking COUCH as the host.

The city of Nassau is a dump, and the taxi ride to the beach is a serious danger... We almost wrecked 4-5 times! Once we got out on the water, it was gorgeous.We went to Blue Lagoon, which was nice, but definitely not worth the price from Carnival. We took a taxi to Paradise Island ferry, and saved money that way by only paying 45 to Blue Lagoon. Ultimately, it still wasn't worth the money for us b/c the water was too cold in Jan. to swim.

We loved Key West. Beautiful city. Great food. Great history. Clean, gorgeous, and had many activities.
