Great for families with teenagers!
Carnival Fantasy Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas

Review SummaryThis was our third cruise, first time with Carnival. We were disappointed with the size of the ship as it was too small with only one pool. Our teenagers never even got in as it was full of "drunk adults." They did have a water park area with water slides which was great for the younger kids. It would have been nice to have had another pool in that area as well. That being said, there were so many older children on board that they still had a good time getting to meet new friends. In fact, we didn't see very much of them the entire trip and they had a great time! For being the oldest ship in Carnival's fleet, you would never have known it. It was very clean and well appointed with roomy cabins and comfortable beds. The staff was wonderful, especially our room steward and waiters! The food in the dining room was terrific, some of the best we've had on any cruise. We were seated with another family with teenagers at dinner and became fast friends. As for the entertainment, the shows were average compared to the other cruises we've been on. Our ports of call were Key West, which we enjoyed immensely having never been there, but we were not impressed with Freeport or Nassau in the Bahamas and will probably never go back. Overall, we think Carnival is a great cruise line for young adults traveling with friends or families with older children and will try another one, only on a larger ship with better ports of call.
