Sailing from Charleston

Sail Date: May 23, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Beautiful renovated with marble and tile floors. Bathrooms all updated and the entire ship was extremely clean.

Pros: Smaller ship and convenient sailing port.

Cons: Entertainment needed improvement - not geared to early dinner seating and food was usually not hot, even in the dining room.

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
Extremely clean and easy to get around on.
Food and Dining
Food was seldom hot, even in the dining room. Could have used a bit more flavour.
Cabin / Stateroom
Nice updated bathroom and good closet space
Entertainment
Timing of bands very bad. Seemed to be geared to second seating dinners. Seldom any dance music between 7:00p.m. and the start of the 8:45 p.m. show. If you didn't gamble you ended up going back to your stateroom.
Service and Staff
Grand Turk Island
Again, if you've taken the tour once that's enough. Nothing really to see near the port.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
One of the most beautiful private islands we ever saw. Lots of activities and beautiful beach.
Nassau, Bahamas
If you've been there once, no need to see it again
