A Good Cruise

Sail Date: March 10, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Suite

The ship was nice. It was not as big as I thought it would be. You could tell it was an older ship but it was still ok. The general pool was way too cold the entire trip. Kids were ok in it because they were going on the slide but the parents and other adults froze. We never even got in because it was too cold.

Pros: Children have a great time and the suite are wonderful. Our Steward was wonderful, he really made sure we had everything and especially made it fun for our son.

Cons: Did not like having to go to dinner at a specific time and having assigned seating wasn't too wonderful either. The showers are really small and extremely dark. As soon as you pull the curtain you basically can't see.

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
The port shopping was ok but we did the beach buggy tour and that was alot of fun. You got to drive your own dune buggy all around the island and have lunch and play volleyball on the beach.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Costa Maya was great. The shopping was wonderful and it is a definite must see. It is really only a port town but well worth the trip.
Don't Miss: There is a pool right in the middle of all the shops and the kids love it.
