A great get-a-way!

I am a cruise addict! This was my fourth cruise sailing with Carnival Cruise Lines and my experience on Fantasy was great! The service of all the staff was outstanding and somewhat exceeded the service of past cruises. The ship was a lot smaller; therefore, the movements of the ship caused some people to get slightly seasick---nothing a little medicine couldn't knock out! Cleopatra's Piano Bar and the Lido deck were my favorite places to relax. Being a smaller ship, it allows you to familiarize yourself with the ship prior to the last day. All-in-all, it was a great get-a-way!

Pros: Food and service were exquisite!

Cons: The weather was mostly overcast and rainy, and being a smaller ship, the movement of the ship was greater than larger ships.

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
The port of Costa Maya is very clean and offers visitors swimming pool areas off the shore line. Shopping is nice if you know how to bargin, but the ship prices are comparable.
Don't Miss: Shopping
Cozumel, Mexico
The water is beautiful and snorkeling is a must! Do not waste your money on the shore excursion that tries to fit everything in within a 5 hour period. We purchased the Jeep Excursion which you and three friends get to tour the whole island, snorkel from the shore, eat an authentic Mexican lunch, visit the Mayan ruins & shop for 2 minutes. Our guides were wonderful; however time constraints didn't allow us to enjoy Cozumel to the fullest. As for people that like to drink cervezas, this is a non-alcohol excursion that you are not forewarned of when booking.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling & shopping
