Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

Mom, Dad, 16 yr old daughter, 7 yr old son. We all enjoyed ourselves. We had good service at all the lounges. Camp Carnival kept the son happy. The daughter was happy finding a local boy to hang out with. We didn't use the restaurants this time. We took all our meals at the Windows on the Sea or the deli/pizza counter. We like to eat what we want, when we want. The food was better than average for most of the meals. 4 to a room gets you 2 sets of bunkbeds. The bottom ones were very comfortable. All of them had nice pillows and sheets. Very efficient room service. Better food than we expected. Cabin attendant was rarely seen, but obviously there. One day we didn't want the room made up (they put up the top beds and we wanted to be able to all take naps) until later. We went to eat, put out the "sevice room please" sign, and when we got back to the room (maybe 30 minutes later) the room was done and ready to go for the night. On the ship the entire time there were an abundance of teenagers walking around. We expected to see a lot of kids as it was summer,we have one, but they were aimlessly walking around all the time. Was there not enough for them to do? A few in particular were getting quite rude and when we complained to security he just shrugged as if his hands were tied.

Pros: jimi, our waitperson on the Lido deck

Cons: lack of info as to where to go and when. i.e. getting off the ship at ports

Nassau, Bahamas
Must see Atlantis. Get the taxi a few streets over and save money. You can get a hotel room for the day for about $200. That entitles you to all the beach access, water park, and aquarium. Saves money plus it gives you a place to change your clothes
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Horse back riding on the beach was absolutely the most fun I have ever had on an excursion! Water slides and fountains keep the little ones busy, but there is no supervisor around, so you really have to keep an eye on yours because the kids get a little wild
Don't Miss: Horse back riding on the beach
