Great time on Fantasy

Sail Date: July 03, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The Fantasy is a wonderful ship - big enough to offer lots of experiences but not so large it's overwhelming. The decor is tasteful without being garish. Every crew member I encountered was helpful and courteous.

Pros: Itinerary, food, Port Canaveral

Cons: Tender boats at Half Moon Cay

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
The beach was great, but it took too long to get off the ship via tenders.
Grand Turk Island
The island still has lots of undeveloped beach that's within a short walk of the dock.

Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau has lost a lot of its island charm - there's a Starbucks within sight of the dock. Still, it's a great town for walking and shopping.
Don't Miss: The $6 round-trip ferry ride to the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island.
