A great time

Overall, this ship is just fine. It has outdated decor, but if you're not looking for luxury, it is really OK. For the price, definitely worth the money. We received an upgrade to an outside stateroom on the lowest level and thought it was just as good as a couple of friends of ours whose stateroom was 2 floors above. We didn't get a late dinner seating which we requested, but it didn't pose a problem except for having to get ready for dinner early in the afternoon. I thought the food a little bland but was very glad to have pizza available 24 hours. There were a few areas with a not-so-pleasant odor lingering throughout the trip which was a little unsettling, but not so much that you couldn't get over it.

Pros: 24 hr pizza availability

Cons: Only one outlet for plugins in the stateroom

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
Gave a poor rating on this mainly due to the outdated decor and the unpleasant odors in certain areas.
Food and Dining
Overall food was fine. A little bland. The 24 hour availability of pizza definitely saved the day for me.
Service and Staff
Most staff was pleasant. Our dining room service was really good. We ran across one bartender who was downright rude.
Entertainment
Cabin / Stateroom
I gave this one an excellent rating because of the comfort of the bed/linens/pillows. Most definitely the most comfortable bed and luxurious duvet and pillows I've ever slept on. The size of the room was very adequate. Only improvements for the staterooms would be to include a clock of some sort and more plug-ins available. There was only one plug-in and for 2 girls getting ready for a formal dinner, we could have used about 4!
Cozumel, Mexico
Loved Cozumel. Senor Frogs restaurant/bar was the best stop. Also enjoyed the shopping. The adventure park we visited was pretty good. The equipment for rock climbing seemed a little old and smelly but the resort where it took place was fabulous and beautiful and the staff very friendly.
Don't Miss: Senor Frogs restaurant/bar
