Carnival Cruise reps lie !!!!

Sail Date: June 30, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

This ship is for families ONLY!!!! Our cruise rep did not tell us this and we were three older women traveling on a ship with nothing to do! The waiters in the main dinning room would hover over you and take your plate before you were finished eating. They would move your silverware around if you moved it. It was very unprofessinal!
We were also told there were free items that we were charged for and we were not comfortable with the setting on this ship. Do not trust what you are told. Ask others that have traveled this cruise line and on this ship.

Pros: I did not like this cruise!!!!!

Cons: There were kids swinging off the yard arms!!!!

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? No.

Service and Staff
The steward for our room was very helpful. The rest of the staff was very rude and you could not understand what they were saying. All were foreigners.
Entertainment
Nothing for middle aged people to do but eat and drink!
Ship Quality
This ship, the Fantasy, was clean
Food and Dining
The waiters in the main dinning room would hover over you and take your plate before you were finished eating. They would move your silverware around if you moved it. It was very unprofessinal!
Cabin / Stateroom
Clean
Children's Programs
THAT'S ALL THERE WAS !
Cozumel, Mexico
The guide on the horseback riding trip was very friendly and we had fun. In fact it was the only thing we had fun doing!
Don't Miss: Buenavista horseback riding
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
lOTS OF SHOPPING AND VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE.
