Fantasy from New Orleans
Carnival Fantasy Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Sail Date: May 19, 2007
Ship: Carnival Fantasy
Cabin Type: Suite
Traveled As: Couple

The ship is not nearly as large as some of the other cruise ships out there, which makes it very easy to find your way around.
Port of New Orleans was a breeze to find and parking and checking in went very smoothly!
The cabin (V19) category 11 was a nice size room with a very tiny balcony. Other people from adjacent cabins could lean around the balcony divider and see right into your room.
Ports of Call: Cozumel and Costa Maya. Cozumel is beautiful and so many things to do. Costa Maya has not yet developed and many activities you have to take a bus, taxi, tour to get to your destination. The lack of people at this port made us just a little uncomfortable. However, it is a beautiful island to see.
Food: The quality of food has declined over the years, but this is true of most cruise lines. However, the lobster was suprisingly delicious and so was the chocolate melting cake which is a must!
Getting off the ship was also a breeze and took maybe 15 minutes!
