Great cruise for the money

Sail Date: May 13, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

My husband and I were on this same ship last year and really loved it, that is why we went back. We feel it is a great cruise for the money but there is not enough to do for people who dont want to sit outside all day. From the hours of 2 to 5 there is very little to do. Maybe a movie in the University Lounge, or something like that each afternoon to make you feel as though you can get out of the cabin and not just stay in to watch TV all afternoon.

Pros: Comedian Shows

Cons: No trays in Lido buffet area

Ship Quality
For an older ship it was really nice, not crazy about the electric hand dryers in the bathrooms
Cabin / Stateroom
Overall good rooms in size and etc.
Food and Dining
The food in the Celebration dining room was great. Also, you can get a steak anytime you dont like the menu
Service and Staff
Loved our cabin stewart and our waiter, even the matre'd made allot of trips to our table. Usually we dont see them until the night before tips.
Entertainment
Entertainment was great, I personally dont care for the dance shows anymore because I have seen so many of them but the dancers work their buns off and are excelllent. I love the comedian shows the best and the illusion shows.
Nassau, Bahamas
Tired of going to Nashua. Been there over 10 times already. Stayed on the ship.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Only thing that was lousy was trying to get lunch. We waited for 20 minutes in line and the line moved only up one or two spaces so we gave up and went back to the ship to eat lunch.
Grand Turk Island
Great Island, Need a few more shopping areas but the rest is great.
Don't Miss: Loved Margarietaville
