My first time solo cruising going at my leisure seeing new ports of call on the Elation had a great time and would definitely sail on this ship again.

Embarkation was a breeze my check in time was 11 to 11:30 but GOPort was running a little behind schedule had all documents in hand and breezed right on thru.

No complaints here MDR was good ate there 4 out of the 5 nights the wait staff was so attentive and friendly on this ship. Ate at the MDR both days for brunch had the steak n eggs then Huevos Rancheros not sure if I spelled that right. Of course embarkation day went straight for a Guys burger had the tacos a couple of times too. Breakfast buffet was good like I say no complaints.
Onboard Activities

Well I played bingo one day hung out at the Serenity deck went to a couple of shows and Carnival in my opinion has really stepped up their game when it comes to the shows and entertainment singers and dancers were spot on, I saw 1 comedy club act. I’m not a gambler but over heard people that did win big in the casino and someone hit the 5K at bingo too.

As mentioned before I was pleased there was this one rock band that played on the Promenade deck by the drama bar wow they were really good.
Service and Staff

Staff was so friendly I was approached several times asked was I having a good time was there anything I needed and my room steward Jeamer was so sweet remembered my name from day one and my MDR head waiter Mario was excellent too.

Ship was very clean everywhere you turned workers were constantly cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved my cabin I had the upper/lower cabin being it was just me was just fine on deck 7 close to all the fun.
Oh my loved Amber Cove I stayed in port at the pool there enjoyed the scenery and some drinks at the swim up bar watched people zip line it’s a beautiful place going back there in January
There was a little bit of a hiccup this day no fault of Carnivals the port escalators were down we were to start disembarking at 8 but the port workers scrambled and got the escalators working and the process started at 8:45 but like I say no fault of Carnival. GOPort was still on time luckily I had a late flight that day home so all good.
