Food was hit or miss, but have had similar experience on other cruise lines as well, since food is made for the masses and it’s not a “made to order” restaurant like the specialty dining options on other ships. This ship does not have specialty dining, but you can order special items off the menu for a $20 charge, which on this trip I did not do, so I have no feed back on quality other that it looked good from what I saw. Service and servers were exceptional and took good care of us, and if I did not like something they would bring me something else, so it was a good experience. The 3 star rating was based on just food, but service was 5 star.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. If something wasn’t exactly perfect, they were quick to make it so. From restaurant staff, to cleaning staff, and Supervisory/ Concierge staff, everyone gave a friendly “hello” and inquired about our needs and our experience. One of the HR Supervisors even bought our Specialty Lattes at the coffee shop when she thought we were waiting in line ( we really only stood for less than 60 seconds ). Our room steward , Henry , was outstanding with service and making us feel at home by greeting us by name and always being sure we were having a great experience.

Cabin was surprisingly roomy with a large flat screen and plenty of closet/shelf space. Two USB ports were on both sides of the bed. Bathroom was of adequate size and the shower seemed a little larger than some ships. The bed was comfortable enough to get a good night’s sleep and extra pillows and towels were provided immediately upon request. We found the room to be extremely clean, no complaints at all, and overall experience made us think it was recently redone.
