I would have given this experience 5 stars if it weren't for the food quality - that was the only real negative I have for this trip. Everything else was darn near perfect!

It literally only took a total of 30 minutes from the time we arrived at the port until we set foot on the ship. Carnival made this new process a phenomenal experience.

The dining room food has really gone down hill - thankfully the pizza and deli sandwiches were good. Mixed drinks are terrible and very expensive, beer is $7 a can - RIDICULOUS plus added 18% gratuity on every order.

The pools need to be expanded significantly! They are way too small. Hot tubs are always filled with children.

SPOILED!!! We will never be able to get a cabin in any other location. Apparently the balancing system was having issues so the ship was very rocky - we were grateful to be on the "teeter" part of the "totter" - it was the best location on the ship.
Ship tip
Be sure to BYO Meds and Sunscreen - Aleve, Ibuprofen, Imodium (the food is designed to make you "go" more than normal) We forgot our sunscreen and had to pay $21 for a spray bottle.
We did the Reef & Rays Excursion - Captain Derrick and his crew were top notch - they gave us the best experience in what I describe as pure heaven - the waters are just magnificent.
