Review summary

For our first cruise we couldnt have been happier. It was definately what gave us the cruising bug!

Embarkation

A little more info on where to go next would have been better but otherwise it was great!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Drinks in real carved coconut cups as we got on deck was a nice was way to say. ...let the vacation begin! Cheers! Overall food was pretty good with a variety for our large 3 family group!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
From miniature golf to teen dance club it was great for our older kids. The kids club for our younger sailor offered day activities as well as a " sleep over" pajama party one night. Adults were never bored either, the evening shows were awesome with a variety so as to entertain tastes. We played bingo, scavenger hunt, bar lounges with live bands.....great!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Highlight.....from magic to comedy to musical acts. All shows were amazing!

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Something for everyone in our group as we had a variety of ages.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Amazing....especially our cabin steward. Greeting us by name as we entered our cabin!! Nice touch! Our cabin was always tidy and a new towel design greeted us each night!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Bathrooms and deck were always clean and polished. The buffet could have used a lil attention but probably normal with that many people.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Small but adequate considering we didn't spend too much time here. When we first checked in I immediately unpacked and ou organized all our clothes, shoes and toiletries. This allowed us to put the suitcases under our bed....much more room this way.

Ship tip

Bring deck of cards/ game/dice and sit in library and play games.....nice, cool, quiet and practically empty most of the time. Our group played games in there a few times.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Been here many times, we took a large fishing boat out and caught huge fish, visted Cabo Wabo and Giggling Marlin....sooo much to see.

San Diego, California

5 out of 5
We live in San Diego but still 3njoy downtown....go see Midway, Star of India or sightseeing while grabbing a meal.

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
Did some shopping, grabbed some tacos and beer from a pub....also did parasailing.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
A little chaotic and loud but fairly organized considering everyone was leaving at once.
