Review summary

This was a wonderful first cruise. We met so many great people and we really enjoyed every aspect of it. My family all agreed this was the best vacation we've ever had and the best money we've ever spent.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Our check in time was 12:00, We unexpectedly got to the port at 10:30, so very early and expected to have to wait. We didn't purchase FTTF. We didn't wait long and were through the embarkation and on the ship by 11:45.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Guy's burgers was delicious, and the tacos at Blue Iguana were amazing. The pizza was a thin, crispy crust that was really delicious (especially the Quattro Formaggio without tomato sauce). The main dining room had a good variety of things I've never tried and familiar foods, and we ordered lots of options. We usually had two appetizers and two desserts because we couldn't decide! The drinks we had were all delicious. I didn't have anything that I wouldn't choose to have again.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of variety in activities. My husband and children and I enjoyed the Piano Bar, and my kids enjoyed the shows. We all played different trivias and enjoyed those, too. The pool is small, so we didn't spend much time in it, but the two beach days made up for it. The waterslides weren't ever really crowded, at least nothing like the waterparks here at home. So it was always easy to slide a few times then go back to relaxing in the sun.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Epic Rock was great! Perfect show! Laura in the Piano Bar was really good, very interactive.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wayan is great- he was our room steward. He even helped us remember our sunscreen when we went out and helped us with our debarkation questions. Sinta, Sovi, and Mai in the dining room were all wonderful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is a smaller ship, but it really was great for a first time cruise. the layout is easy to navigate and we were able to find our places easily by day 2. There were always people cleaning every surface of the ship in the mornings and evenings.

Great beach day. Don't need an excursion. Probably the prettiest beach I have ever seen.
