Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

We loved to relax and not have to think about our jobs. The food was great & the crew was awesome in taking care of us. We loved exploring the ship and watching the scenery. We were not, however, expecting the unending sales pitches, although in hind-site, we should have known because it is a tourist gig. We tried not to spend much money, but there is opportunity after opportunity to buy things, especially stuff you don't really need at prices that are supposedly reduced. They also don't tell you that you must claim your purchases on an immigration & customs form when you return to the US until the evening before your return. Alcohol & jewelry are pitched endlessly even on the excursions & you can't even get to your excursion or back without walking thorough a narrow, seemingly endless market. We got tired, fast, of the endless marketing pitches but we really enjoyed everything else.Surprised

Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was very small for 3 people and everything appeared clean, but not everything in immediate sight was clean. We noticed that there were dusty areas & inconspicuous. areas under the window or around the corners that we did not want to guess what it was. The cabin steward was very good at straightening up our room EVERY time we left it!

It's less expensive to buy a soda or a drink occasionally rather than buying their "unlimited" drinks if you prefer water or juice or milk. You can get all the water & juice you want in the buffet if you are not a big soda or alcohol consumer.
