This was our fourth cruise with Carnival and each cruise seems to deteriorate a little bit more. Of course, this was a very economical cruise but I did expect things to be a bit better than they were. Food was very bland and cold. Our room was definitely showing wear even though the ship was supposedly revamped in 2011. The fabric on the stool under our vanity was torn and unraveling and long strings were dragging the floor. Never once got a turn down service on the bed, chocolates on the pillow or an animal towel. We went to a comedy show and were surprised to find that it only lasted 20 minutes. By the time our drinks arrived, it was over. We took two of our children and four of our grandchildren and none of them had ever been on a cruise. I figured, being first timers, they'd enjoy it and it would give them a taste of what a cruise is about. Unfortunately, it pretty much turned them off to taking cruises in the future.

Room service took 3 hours and two call backs, cabin stewart never performed turn down service or animal towels. Didn't see him much at all.
11 year old was put in group with 4 year olds. Hated it.
