This was our first cruise so we have nothing to compare it to. The Elation was very clean but it was dated. The staff was excellent. The waters were pretty rough and many of the passengers were suffering from sea-sickness. We were both very lucky not to be among the sick. It was actually kind of fun watching people sway from side to side while waiting to enter the dining areas. All heads to the left, then the right...

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Cruise Photos

Cabin / Stateroom
Very clean but kind of cramped.
Food and Dining
Food wasn't outstanding, but that's OK with me.
Entertainment
We enjoyed the shows and watching people learn to dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Service and Staff
The wait staff was excellent; very accommodating.
Onboard Activities
The only thing we found was the walking track and it was too cold to use.
Destinations and Excursions
Cozumel is beautiful. Progresso was interesting but a little scary.
