This was our third cruise. The boat was freezing! We could have worn pants and long sleeves the entire time on the boat. The dining room was excellent. We had a great waiter and hostess. The buffet was not very good. You can tell that Carnival is getting cheaper with food selection and quality. I was a little disappointed, usually, we enjoy buffets, but they were always crowded. Bingo was expensive. $20 per card and you only got to play 1 - 3 games on the card and the pots were small except for the last day. The ports were nice. We did a nice tour in Progresso with the ruins and Horse show. Our kids enjoyed it. Guillermo, our tour guide, was excellent. We also enjoyed the snorkeling and beach break in Cozmel.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining room was excellent\, but the buffet didn't have enough variety. Excellent waiters and shows in the dining room. I would highly recommend for dinner.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The night club and casino were nice\, but not enough things to do on the ship.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our 8 year old and 12 year old loved the programs.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship seemed small\, but was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our oceanview room was OK for us with a 12 year old and 8 year old\, but I would not recommend for 4 people with 2 kids 12 and older.

Pros: Dining Room and Camp Carnival

Cons: Temperature of the Boat!!

Recommends Carnival Elation? No.
