I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, awesome vacation. Everything was easy -- from parking at the Julia Terminal to boarding the ship, to the trip itself, to debarking. The glamour and luxury of the ship were exciting. The live music was consistently great, and the staff were wonderful.

Food and Dining

The serving sizes are rather small, but I consider that a perk. That way I could order multiple appetizers because so much looked delicious!

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a small room, but we knew that when we booked it. Our logic was along the lines of -- what are we doing in the room besides sleeping and showering!

Pros: the ship and the service

Cons: how long it took to get out of the Mississippi River!

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!
