Smoooooothe Cruise!

Sail Date: January 19, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was kept clean as a whistle at all times. Her age is showing a little, but that had no impact whatsoever of our comfort.

Pros: It's so hard to say, because it was all great. I will say the entertainment.

Cons: Waiting for the elevators.

Recommends Carnival Elation? No.

Food and Dining
The food was very good, and was unlimited!
The entertainment was geared toward customers of all ages.
Ship Quality
The ship size was great. Not too big. The public areas were kept clean at all times. The decor was lively and a bit garish.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room size was good. It was kept clean at all times. The bathroom was of good size as well.
Children's Programs
Everyone, especially the staff in the restaurant, was very helpful and accomodating. Great Attitudes.
Service and Staff
Sheryl, who was in the casino, was absolutely wonderful. She checked on all of the customers on a regular basis. Her personality was sparkling!!! She made each person feel very special. Sheryl needs a raise!!!!!!! She went above and beyond for her customers. Carnival Cruise Lines is very lucky to have hired Sheryl.
