An overall good experience

Sail Date: March 17, 2011

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

The ship was very clean, and tidy. The crusie line goes out of their way to make sure everything is constantly being cleaned and put back into it's proper place.
The ping pong pads were extreemly worn, and the 3 of the life chess peices were missing making it imposible to play. ( the chess board is laid out on the floor with each space about 18" by 18") would have been very cool to have played it.

Pros: the excursions, and service on the ship

Cons: drink prices and mandatory gratuaties are a complete rip off, and blocking off entrance and exits was a real pain!

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Ship Quality
All of the mens bathrooms had broken door latches, but other than that and the other specific forementioned items, the ship was great.
Food and Dining
Food was totally awsome!
Cabin / Stateroom
the state room interior rooms were so well laid out with extra beds that flop down from the walls, that I will never pay to upgrade to anything nicer, as it was more than adequate!
Service and Staff
All the staff I interreacted with was great!
Entertainment
all excelent
Children's Programs
adequate
Cozumel, Mexico
The sail, snorkel, and privat beach for 69.99 was worth it price and then some. I gave a$100.00 tip to the crew to show how great they were. All the margarittas you can drink or beer, and the snorkel experience, and private beach was over the top.
Don't Miss: The sail, snorkel, and privat beach for 69.99
