Carnival really lived up to its reputation as the premier cruise line for families with kids (even teens). We cruised with other families with kids that were my son's classmates as well as my nephews. They all had a great time. We've cruised before with Princess, RCCL, and Norwegian and by far this was the best in terms of activities for kids. The others were first time cruisers but will cruise again with Carnival. I can't wait to get into their larger ships in the Caribbean or Europe--hope to do that next summer with the same group. Had a real blast!

Great party atmosphere in the main shopping street. Was surprised to see a lot of military and police there but felt safe that they were there. Kids had a real blast doing the extreme dune buggy ride!
Don't Miss: the dune buggy extreme ride! Kids gave it 5 stars!

Pros: Friendly staff; superb service; variety of activities

Cons: Buffet was not open 24/7
