Just returned 2/12/09 from a five day to Cabo and Ensenada. Ship is clean and in good shape. We're eleven people in four inside cabins on the Empress deck. Our cabin was clean and large enough for myself, husband and college age daughter on the upper bunk. We did hear some noise coming from above a couple of nights as the cabin is below the galley area.
Food is pretty good even in the Lido deck (Tiffany's) except for the very crowded feel. I suggest the sit down dining instead at Imagination Dining Room. The dinner is exceptional as the food seem to be better this time even from last year when I was on the Elation also.
Shows were just ok. The PG Hypnotist show was pretty entertaining but the R version was indecent.

Pros: Dinner at the Imagination Dining Room

Cons: Crowded at Tiffany's during peak dining times

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!
