First cruise and very impressed!

Sail Date: June 11, 2007

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

We were first time cruisers and were impressed. We enjoyed the activity choices overall or the freedom to just hang out. Plenty of space, decent overall service, with exceptional dining room service. Silvio and "Z" from Croatia made our cruise so much more enjoyable. At the end of the cruise, all six of us agreed, the highlight was dinner and seeing Silvio and Z. Plus, the food was exceptional!

Pros: Dinner - food was delicious / many choices / service was 5 star, overall ship cleaniness, comedians

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Ensenada, Mexico
we enjoyed the shopping in Ensenada. the people were friendly and helpful. did not go on excursions, just shopped.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
we didn't go on excursions, and apparantly did not see the best parts of Cabo. Am a big fan of Sammy Hagar, so it was cool to be able to visit his place - "Cabo Wabo".
