Our first Carnival cruise

Sail Date: May 01, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

I thought the ship was more beautiful than the new mega ships. The mega ships resemble shopping malls in my opinion. This was our first time on Carnival (we have cruised several times on Princess and Norweigian and once on Royal Caribbean).

Pros: Easy embarkation

Cons: Debarkation - we had to out of our cabin by 8:30 but didn't get released off the ship until after 11am.

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!
