Review summary

The staff on the ship were friendly and in abundance. There were a variety of activities available. The best part of my trip was that shore trips were planned down to the last detail, although we started out rather early--8:00 a.m., which meant getting up at 7:00 a.m.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We went on a bike tour of the island, which gave us an up close and personal view of the island. Our guide was knowledgable. Wait until you get to Nassau to go shopping.

Nassau, Bahamas

We were disappointed by the dolphin encounter. It was held in a cage-like area and more like a walk-through of promised activities--petting, feeding, dancing. Shopping in Nassau was excellent, especially if you want nice jewelry.
Don't Miss: We loved the Straw Market for souvenirs and the chance to bargin with locals.

Pros: The atrium in the center of the ship gave it an open, airy feel

Cons: The evening shows on the main stage were lacking.
