So So Not so wonderful

Sail Date: November 16, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This was our first cruise and we thought we did our homework so we picked the 4 day Bahama cruise with Carnival.
This was our Anniversary as well so we got the last Suite available. This was by far the best part of the cruise the Suite (with a balcony) was just great we can't say enough about it.
The food at best was ok and maybe not even that at times. The food was not hardly even warm enough to eat most evenings and lunch out on the pool deck was awful, hambuger and hot dogs each day. The pziza was worse than store bought frozen too. The best meal was on Formal night it was really good.
Carnival has done away with the Midnight buffet with the ice sculpures on it's 3 and 4 day cruises we were told. We were looking forward to this since we had heard so much about it.
The entertaiment on the ship was ok, the music was pretty good but that was about all you had unless you did alot of gambling. Since the sun didn't shine until the very last day thats exactly what we had to do.
As far as the Bahamas go, they can have them!! A tourist trap to say the least and with no sunshine going to the beach was out.

Pros: Our Suite was wonderful!

Cons: Food was not the best at times
