My family, including 2 teenagers, spent our Spring Break on the Elation and had a great time. Now we know how rich people live! Food and service were great, getting dressed for the dining room is worth the trouble as the food is superior to the buffet line. Evening "Vegas" style shows were a little cheesy, but entertaining and we could take our kids without embarassment. Favorite show, by far, was the Mariachi and Folklorico dancing in Puerto Vallarta. Wished we had a little more time in Cabo San Lucas, the morning went too fast. The sea was a little rough en route to and from Los Angeles, but a little dramamine was enough to fix the problem, nothing major. Carnival seated us with 2 other single moms with 17-year-old daughters, and we all hit it off from the get go. Thank you to the person who did that neat trick. Overall, cruising is not the best way to explore a foreign country, but it is the BEST way to travel!! We got our money's worth for sure.
