Great Honeymoon

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Room Type: Oceanview

Overall, a great way to spend our honeymoon! The staff made the entire cruise so easy...no packing and unpacking, no rental cars, no checking in and out, just enjoying the time to relax together. Meals in the dining room were EXCELLENT along with great service. We had one day of rough waters, and the staff was again wonderful in making sure guests felt okay and had all they needed to continue to enjoy the cruise.

Pros: Days in Cabo San Lucas, including an excursion and time to explore the city

Cons: ROUGH water during one day...not the ship's fault, but made for a long day at sea

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Meals in the dining room were great--the buffet lines and other "snacky" foods could use some improvement, but overall, well done!
Cabin / Stateroom
Great
Service and Staff
Entertainment
There were some activities that I was surprised to see a high fees attached (yoga in the mornings, overpriced massages, etc), but there was plenty of stuff to do that was included in the cruise price, so we chose accordingly.
