All areas of the ship are clean and in good repair. Crew is energetic and friendly. The entertainers (singers, dancers, muscians) were very professional and talented. There was a continuous stream of activities with broad appeal. The food is good on average, with spikes of excellence. This is not an adventure in fine dining, but it is an all-around value for a getaway. With all the activities offered, you can be as relaxed or involved as you wish. Keep in mind that baggage and hand-carried items are x-rayed each time you embark, not so much for security (we had a knife in our luggage that was not questioned), but for alcohol. If you bring bottled spirits aboard, at any point in your cruise, be prepared to have them confiscated. I suppose you get to claim them at the end of the cruise.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
This is not a "fine dining" ship, so expectations were not high. Food was good on average, with some entrees being excellent. The variety is quite good and there is attention to detail in presentation. The dining room service and ambience was quite good. Service was efficient, with friendly banter from the wait-staff.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Good variety of activities. The staged entertainment was excellent. The gym facilities are outstanding, with a good selection of cardio machines and late-model excercise machines. We did attend one health lecture in the spa that dispensed information that was misleading in some aspects and flat wrong in others (my wife is professional in the related topic).

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Friendly, cheerful and energetic staff. Just listening to the Cruise Director was like a caffeine hit. The production perfomers (singers, dancers, musicians) were talented professionals. Never saw a performer doing less than their best effort.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and in good repair. Easy to get around, with reasonable waitihg time for elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Clean and orderly. Comfortable bed. Room stewards kept the room neat and clean in a timely manner. Not a large room, but I have had a smaller hotel room.

Pros: Cleanliness, attitude of crew, gym facilities

Cons: Bogus health lecture
