This was our first cruise and aside from online reviews we didn't know what to expect. The cruise was awesome, the food was great and we felt very free with our schedule because there were always more options for activities, food and entertainment.
Food and Dining

We had so many options for food on this trip we always had trouble deciding. The breakfast is pretty much the same for buffet or for seated, it just depends on how long the lines are, or how late you wake up. We always ended up getting the buffet or pizza bar for lunch which was great and 24-hour. We liked the sushi bar for snacks before shows because we had the late dinner seating. The dinner was always wonderful, we were on board for haloween and they made special dessert for the occasion. The dinner was a great time to try food that you would never think to try at home, with the safety of other options if you don't like your choice. The rooms service was ok, there aren't many choices and it was a bit dry but our meals were hot and arrived promptly.

The shows were campy but the dancers did a great job. The singing could use a lot of work, maybe the tunes could be adjusted to match the range of the performers or different people chosen. The live band that was performing was great and had good timing and communication. The comedian wasn't very funny but everyone else was laughing so it may have been for a different age group. We did like the juggler/comedian, he was pretty sarcastic and we were big fans.
Service and Staff

We had dinner in the Inspiration Dining Room and Lydia was our waitress, she was excellent. She always gave her choices for the evening and was spot on everynight. She also would bring extras if she thought we would want to try something. Our room Steward was excellent as well, we got a different towel animal every night on our bed with the itinerary for the next day. We were back and forth all day and it seemed like everytime we came back our room was clean, and we only caught them cleaning the room once!

The decor was kind of loud and vegas-like, but we liked it. The ship itself has a vegas-like atmosphere but is varied and very clean. The layout can be confusing, for short cruises try to learn it the first night.

Our room was an oceanview on the riviera deck. When we arrived the room was very clean with plenty of space. There was an inroom safe that was easy to use, and lots of closet and drawer space. My husband is 6'5" so the king bed was appeciated, and he was able to move about comfortably in the room and bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of space in the mirror cabinet for toiletries.
