Well worth the money. We took 3 kids (15, 13, 10) We rarely saw our 10 year old. He was in camp, doing talent shows, making stuffed bears...Our girls went "clubbing" at night. Teen style. We checked on them several times!!! We feel a vacation is what you make of it. Go to the shows, lay by the pool, see a sunset and a sunrise. The night party on the pool deck was a blast!

Pros: the staff

Cons: rockin and rolling

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Ship Quality
always cleaning. we hit a storm on night 1. very rough. captain changed the course of the ship and it get better.
Food and Dining
Eat the formal dinner every night. What a treat to let my kids try lobster for free!! Sometimes the buffet was a little bland
Cabin / Stateroom
bigger than any other ship we know of
Service and Staff
ronald and jaime in the formal dining room were the best. the room stewart was always cleaning our room
Entertainment
we enjoyed the shows and free drinks on the captains night
Children's Programs
My son had his own personal assistant. She walked him home at night and picked him up after breakfast. He met a friend he will have for life.
