Good Time - Would go Again

Sail Date: June 11, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Ship was clean, room was comfortable, able to find uncrowded places, movies in room. Nice running track and exercise room.

Pros: Ship was clean, room was comfortable, able to find uncrowded places, movies in room

Cons: Too much "selling" - Art work, photographs, jewelry,..

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Entertainment
Don't really enjoy playing games (bingo, trivia,...) or dancing. Also the shows were filled with very old songs. Something more modern or different (magician) would have been appreciated. Liked reading my books best. Would have enjoyed a tour of the inner workings of the ship
Food and Dining
Although there was lots of food, the quality was average. Guess it is hard to prepare great food for so many people.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our room, on the lowest desk with a window, was much more spacious and comfortable than I imagined.
Service and Staff
Everyone was very friendly.
Ship Quality
Very clean and in great condition
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Sea of Cortez was very nice. Tour to San Jose was a bit boring. Afraid to eat at restaurants. Temperature in June is HOT! Wished I had time to actually go in the water.
Ensenada, Mexico
Much cleaner city than others I have visited.
