5 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)
Sail Date: February 26, 2007
Ship: Carnival Elation
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

Our 3rd Carnival cruise. This ship was good, just smaller than the others taken. Crew was seen doing an overall good job of cleaning, etc. Crew were friendly and funny. I especially enjoyed the humor of the Captain and our dinner servers. Food was good but not as good as other trips. Would still sail with Carnival..........

Food was good, but not as good as previous trips.

Entertainment

We are not night people (maybe not god for a cruise) but I would like to see the dance lounges open a little earlier so that they can be enjoyed by those like us.

I would like to see fitted sheets for the beds. Ours kept coming apart, even the mattress pad would work its way off during the night. There was dust on the railings that never seemed to be wiped off. However, bathroom was kept clean eith fresh towels. Water glasses were placed rim down on the counters with no napkin or coaster.

Was not impressed with the Atlantis, but enjoyed the water taxi ride over.

Beautiful! Need more signs designating restroom, etc.

Did not take any shore excursions but enjoyed the beach.

Pros: Our stop in Half Moon Cay, Shows on board ship

Cons: The viewing ability in the show lounge was poor, you had to get there really early to get a good seat.
