We just returned 5/20/19 from Ecstasy, Our 5th Cruise,We love Cruising!! We did get to have some fun on this cruise, The shows were great , and we so wanted to have fun with family and friends , many of who were first time cruisers , some that will not ever cruise again because of the first impression of this cruise..š¢. Of all our cruises this was by far the Most disappointing! The reasons are Many........ Just to mention a few, yes lots of smells , some ppl in our group complained about sewage smells in the bathroom and some brown water came from bathroom sink and in toilet ( not all the time, came & went, came & went) other times strong fume smells, then there was the noise A lot of loud Noise (like metal clanging , things hitting each other)every night and early morning hours, there was only few hours during night when it didnāt keep us awake. Multiple rooms E 157,E153 and others. On E near by in same side. Even worse noises E138 And there was the flooding Drainage issues from shower & Sink, which COMPLETELY Filled the shower the Completely Filled the ENTIRE BATHROOM, then Overflowed into the Room (E153)Covering 95% of The Roomš±, which of course created More Issues!! Much more! After we were told we would have to change rooms since they couldnāt fix the issues anytime soon.we were told to go ahead to do our excursion and they would take care of things & help move everything to new room after we return .Well on day one I explained by note and in person to Nurdi our room steward how I Needed to have Ice for my husbands insulin and at all times not just once a day. And I gave a tip . But after the decision was made that we would have to be moved, he never returned to put ice in cooler. Once we returned & repacked up everything šand went to customer service for the help to move, after waiting on manager to teach another associate how to put in whatever info was needed to try to print a new room key,that didnāt work! then he was told repeatedly to make a call to have someone bring a trolley to pick up stuff Right away, we went back to room then just Waited.......... once we finally got moved we asked for ice explaining how the meds have not been in ice, but the fella who moved us said we would have to call room steward, so we did, and Ariel the room steward said he wouldnāt be up until around 6pm, that we would have to call room service, I explained the issues with meds needing ice, still he said the same. So calling room service they said it would be a while š”I got angry and hung up, so my friend called back explaining things Again and when they told her same that it would be a while before they could send someone she told them This is a kind of emergency these meds Have to be cold , we need the ice NOW! When someone came by she had three little buckets of ice and gave us one , I asked what about the others ? Can I not have more , she said no these are for other people. Ok back to customer service for key thatās not ready......wait..... take to room Still doesnāt work .. that went on over and over!!! Once we had a conversation with new room steward about ice needed for meds Ariel kept the cooler with ice. We never even seen him again but he took care of things. And thatās what mattered. Customer service Manager š didnāt get his name.was no help after getting us the different room,he said heād get the room key issues taken care of but he did not. Tania at customer service tried hard to help. After dealing with the room change and The Many trips to Customer service over day and a half! With New keys NOT WORKING, delays getting off & on ship due to keys Not working... She tried to compensate us some how But Manager said ā No !No! Thereās No Problem! Thereās No Problem!āš” Despite the 6 trips to customer service for the same problem.He was wrong, it Was Problem! One that kept on taking away from us trying to do things with family and friends. As far as the Foods go, foods good -But this time they were the Least impressive of all our cruises. The dinner waiter staff was very friendly head waiter Amin Djakfar, iketutAgus Suryawan And Armin Jaranovic seemed new but were nice .not same for all the breakfast waiters. which seem to really want us to hurry out. (Not just once). So many things seem to have changed /lessened in comparison to prior cruises. Not sure if itās Carnival or just the Ecstasy. We buy Faster to the fun, and itās always been worth it like when we checked in at Jax port we went right through, no stopping or sitting just right through which was great. The debarkation on the other hand was a chaotic mess! As well as getting off ship for excursion, No real organization, and made our faster to the fun seem useless. our tickets for excursion said to meet at Zone 4 there was no zone 4, no signs for our excursion, when my husband and others kept walking past the zone area looking for zone 4 signs someone holding sign for other excursions called to him asking which is he looking for and when I explained which excursion we had & he looked around and realized there were no signs . So he started yelling out to others to get some signs up for there excursions. Then had to get attention of the others who were wondering off still looking for ā Zone4ā then we All waited and waited . Then when we finally get a bus it was awful, very old , obviously previously wrecked, Very uncomfortable, the seats were so close to each other that you are pressed against each other, if the person in seat in front of you moves you feel the pressure. The air conditioning above our seats didnāt work. The open air bus on way back tho was great. I realize this was long , and if it were only Some of those issues instead of one thing after another After another...... We WILL NOT EVER! Book another Cruise on the Ecstasy !Embarkation

They gave out papers for a womenās pampering party , so I And a bunch of women went for a pampering so we thought, but all it was is them offering discount prices on spa specials . And they handed out creams and cleaners stuff for everyone to apply to self , your own āfascialā . There was No pampering!!!!

Bar areas were great and when there was a musician playing there even better

The photos are great , often hard to find yours, but ... I guess thatās to be expected. The complaint a lot of folks had was about how difficult it was to make your way thru the area when just needing to go from one side to the other.

Not as much of a deck as other serenity decks and No Bar ??? It was disappointing

No experience with the shore excursion desk this cruise.but guest service Guest service ššthe manger Not Helpful ! Tania guest service associate tried hard to be helpful.
