First time cruising with Carnival. Not as nice as other cruiselines we have been on, but still had a good time! .

Excellent piano player, Eden, each night in the piano bar! Shows were good also.

Service and Staff

Some dining room service was rather poor, but Rizalino and Russell from the Philippines provided excellent service at dinner.

Average interior cabin. Cabin steward did not show up for one full day, but cabin service improved after housekeeping manager was notified.

Ship tip

Pretty average mid-size ship. Main dining room not open for most meals other than dinner, so you have to go to the buffet dining for most breakfasts and lunches.

If you have been on a different cruise line that is to be expected. The carnival is a cruise line for the middle class that is cheap yet fun I have only sailed carnival and I love it every time

We did the Zuiderdam in 2012. the ship was in terrible shape but we enjoyed the ports.
