We were looking forward to this trip to enjoythe dayin Key West. We were docked at the Navy base which meant you had to take a trolley or small bus to town, which was fine although we waited about 30 minutes outside to get on one to take us to town, but it meant you couldn#39;t easily go back and forth from the ship to town if you wanted. The weather was beautiful in Freeport and Key West, but rainyand gloomy in Nassau. Having been there several times in the past, we just stayed on the ship that day. Our cabin was fine and we rarely saw our room steward, which is great for privacy, but not if you need ice! We had your time dining and service was horrible. On the elegant evening, a couple sat down right next to usAFTER we were seated, and were served water andbread, and had their orders taken before we were even acknowledged at all. After that evening, we just opted to eat dinner at the buffet. Bar service was great (tipping a server at the beginning will ensure you never have an empty glass) and the entertainment was good but just the usual.
