Old Ship, Poorly Run Dining, and Low Bud

Sail Date: July 12, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is old, there were long waits for the my time dining, and the activities were limited. People dont have to wait a long time for my time dining on other ships, so why does the staff on this ship not simply \"go see how its done\". We had to wait with hundreds of others every night. The food was also cold at dinner each night. They must prepair a lot of the sides ahead of time and they dont keep them warm. The entertainment budget must be low and we noticed this the first day. The sail away party was a joke. We were waiting for more, but wow....that was it. Like I said go \"see how its done\" on other cruise lines. Activities were limited, too....this cruise was all about the cruise ship making money...take another cruise with a differnent cruise line other than Holland America/Carnival Line. Even the drank card was over priced and did not even come with a cup. Lastly, they monitor the they will only give you one or two pieces....Cruise was bad.....

Pros: Room was always made up and clean

Cons: Waiting for meals and low budget entertainment and activities
