Not for families

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

It was ok for people who like to party. My 4 yr old son hated camp carnival, which was often overcrowded and more like babysitting than a camp with fun activities.
There was only one crowded pool (saltwater) with loud music playing. The entertainment was mediocre and shows of no interest to us. The port of call were ok, but I would have no interest in going back. The service was outstanding and the food in the dining room was excellent.

Pros: service

Cons: not family friendly

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? No.

Ship Quality
clean, but really hard to figure out the layout and how to get to where you want to be or which elevator to take
Cabin / Stateroom
Children's Programs
Food and Dining
