Great Vacation:)

Sail Date: March 12, 2012

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Loved the ship....the lights...the nooks and crannies:)

Pros: For the money, you can't really beat it. We payed $500 a person and got to see some neat islands and that beautiful carribean water. The Serenity Deck and Piano Bar in the Neon room were two of my favorites on board.

Cons: The food was just average...nothing to write home about EXCEPT the warm chocolate molten cake:) Royal Carribeans food when we cruised with them 6 years ago was much better.

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? Yes!

Food and Dining
It was okay, but not wonderful. They did have a lot of things to choose from though and an excellent omelet bar, pizza stand, plenty of fruit, etc. My husband loves the fact that they had the ice cream bar.
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
The ship was beautiful...lots of lights...very clean ( they were vacuuming the steps and elevator foyers daily and wiping down hand rails and such).
Cabin / Stateroom
Very spacious, clean and had comfy beds:)
