An ok cruise

Sail Date: December 19, 2011

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The ship was not at all clean.

Cons: So many people with nothing to do

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? No.

Food and Dining
The quality of food was not so good compared to Carnival Inspiration and Royal Carrebean Monarch of the Sea.
Entertainment
The shows were mediocre. It seemed that the dancers needed more practice to be on cue.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
We had a family of eight in 3 cabins and had requested to be seated at the same table for dinner but our request was denied. We booked our cabins under our family name but when we checked in we were assurred that we would be seated at the same table. The Matre 'D did not even try to accomodate us. Half of our party had to sit at a different table in a different dining room. It wasn't until the last 2 nights that we asked the other guests to switch with us. The Matre 'D did absolutely nothing to accomodate a simple request.
Children's Programs
Ship Quality
The layout of the ship is very odd. You had to get up one flight of stairs or down one flight of stairs to get to the other side of the ship.
