Awesome first cruise!

Sail Date: July 04, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Very clean - staterooms were always nice, clean and cool when we arrived back! Food was tasty - long lines at busy times but they moved quickly enough.

Pros: The Cruise Director - he was helpful, engaging and fun!

Cons: Not enough activities for children - kids were running around everywhere!

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? Yes!

Food and Dining
Not enough gluten free options - wish there would have been more! What I was able to eat tasted yummy though!
Cabin / Stateroom
Cheesy, but you can see the spots were minor updates have began.
Entertainment
Not enough night activities on days we had been in port, but sea days were packed with all kinds of excitement.
Ship Quality
Public areas and restrooms were always spotless - even during a rainstorm!
Service and Staff
Friendly and helpful - never met someone who wasn't!
Cozumel, Mexico
Rained the entire time, but we still managed to get in swimming with dolphins and shopping downtown!
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
The Market downtown - something to experience and remember!
