We have turned into "cruise people".

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our first cruise. After planning vacations for years, I was looking for something easy and relaxing. Well, this fit the bill perfectly!!!

The ship was great. We had a room with a window, which allowed us to see the sea. The bed was super soft, the staff friendly. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, with the cute towel animals landing on our beds in the evening.

There was always something to do. There was food, food, and food. We had the choice of eating at the buffet, or in the private dining room. We almost always ate in the private dining room where the service was fabulous!!! This really is the perfect vacation, as everything you could want or need is just right there for you.

We enjoyed the comedy shows, the piano bar, as well as the games.

The only cons were there was only one pool, which was small for the entire ship. Luckily we are not big pool people, so we didn't mind. Another con was our excursion- we chose Playa Mia Beach Excursion in Cozymul, Mexico. The beach was like lake water, they shoved us all on this tiny beach like sardines, and it was pretty awful!! But we chose that excursion..live and learn. If we go again, we would choose something different. Another con is they seem to charge for almost every little extra- soft drinks are extra. Bingo is extra. Yoga is expensive. Of course, alchohol is extra. We sat through one speech where all they did was try to sell us ..extras.

Overall, it was the BEST vacation ever. I think we have officially turned into cruise people!

Pros: food, shows, rooms

Cons: The pool, the excursion
