Relaxing and pampered vacation

Sail Date: July 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Ship was kept sparkling clean at all times, lots of maps posted for quick reference, food and drinks available at all times, happy and helpful staff always there when you need them, but working quietly in the background when you're wanting to relax .

Pros: Food was awesome and the service excellent

Cons: Swimming pool too small, no movie theatre

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
Layout was excellent - maps extremely helpful. All areas were tidy and clean at all times. Very nice to have laundry services available.
Excellent if you like drinking, gambling and dancing. If not you run out of things to do. A movie theatre would be nice for family entertainment
Food and Dining
Dining room meals were second to none. The ambiance was classy, yet relaxed and fun.
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms were larger than I'd expected with lots of storage. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom had everything you could possibly need. Toilet should be a few more inches away from wall.
Service and Staff
They were all super friendly and efficient. I wanted to take them all home!
