Expectation Exceeded.

Room Type: Inside

Very good experience beginning to end. Wish dinner were more flavorful. I was given more customer service aboard Ecstasy than at the Ritz. There is much I could say but you need to experience Carnival for yourself. However, I did not find cruising to be my preferred mode of vacationing.

Pros: Watching the sunrise from the Lido deck aft.

Cons: Pitching and Rolling in stormy weather but that's not Carnival's fault.

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? Yes!

Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Water is not that pretty. Nice port but fishy smell was unpleasant. Encourage you to do your casual shopping here instead of Cozumel. Prices are slightly lower, perhaps only jewelery could be a better buy in Cozumel. Don't recommend the kayak adventure in Progreso.
Don't Miss: Enjoy your day aboard ship if you want to.

Water is beautiful. Watch the ship arrive and leave port, it's great. We sorely missed out on the clear kayak adventure which included beach time, great food and drink. Boy, were we jealous!
