We had an oceanview on the bottom (Riviera) deck. We were on the starboard side forward. It was great. Very, very smooth. We felt absolutely no movement from the ship. The new bedding Carnival has implemented was wonderful. Having previously cruised with Carnival, I can see these were a major improvement and very comfortable. The staff, as always was wonderful and always willing to help. We took our own soft drinks and bottled water as well as an ice chest. They kept it full of ice. The a/c worked really well, which was great!! We all had a great time. Our ages ranged from 17 to 74. There was something for all of us to do - ALL the time!! This ship has undergone renovations since the FEMA contract and it's evident. Progreso was a pleasant surprise. Take the bus tour once you get into town. It's good.
We had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Beds and pillows

Cons: Separate keys for cabin door. Other cruises have used sign/sail card as key too.
