Carnival Cruise Line has won my heart. I started cruise on Carnival in August of 1996. My trip started out disasterous but because of Carnival Cruise Line it turned out to be the mot memorable cruise I ever experience. In August of 1996 I planned my first Carnival cruise with 2 of my sons and my nephew. (I going to make this is short as possible). We travelled from Chicago to Miami on Greyhound (what a big mistake)! When we arrived in Miami our luggage didn't arrive with us. We waited for 4 more Greyhound buses because we were told that I luggage would arrive on another bus, but to no avail. I call Carnival to let them know that we were running late because of our luggage was lost and they told us the ship will be pulling off in 45 minutes. We had to leave our luggage behind. We are going on a cruise with no clothes(Wow). When we arrived at the port one of my sons had brought his car title instead of his birth certificate, but the representative told us that you guys has had enough troubles already go ahead and enjoy your cruise. I was overwhelmed and at the same time heartbroken that I start crying profusely. Carnival representatives took me and my family into a room and had us to fill out claim form for our luggage that Greyhound had lost. I really couldn't understand why I was filling out a claim form on Carnival ship and it wasn't their fault that our luggage was lost. This is where I cry everytime I think of what Carnival did. They supplied my family with Carnival tee shirts and other amenties because we didn't even have a change of clothes. We boarded the Ecstasy ship. What a beautiful ship! After I cryed some more, we went and ate. After the muster drill when we return to our rooms, there were $100.00 per person on board credit for us to purchase others amenties and clothing. I cryed some more. And when you think Carnival went above and beyond their call of duties. I got a call for the pursur desk and Andre the representative said that we made arrangements for your three boys to gets tuxedo, shirts socks and shoes for formal night.. They also was making arrangements for me to pick out a dress. I just knew that was going to be a big problem because I wore a size 26 and I knew that they wouldn't have anything to fit me that was beautiful. I was totally shocked! They had a beautiful glittery black formal dress, pantyhose and shoes for me. I really cried then. Carnival really turned a disaster into a memorable cruise. I have been on 9 cruises since. So I don't need to tell you anymore about the love I have for Carnival Cruise line. Thanks Carnival
