I call the Ecstasy cruise experience a "cool" break because the weather during the course of the cruise over March spring break was literally cool. It was too cold to sit comfortably on the deck outside without three layers of clothes, especially when there was wind. Additionally, the stops at Catalina and Ensenada were not any warmer and furthermore, there were no major beaches to even enjoy the sun and warmth, if there was any.Nonetheless, the experience was also "cool" in the sense that my expectations were met with something different and ultimately, equally enjoyable. We were received with super hospitality and service (including towel shape-folding service in the evening). As for entertainment, the show is not highly recommended, but the hairy chest contest is surprisingly worthy of attendance. All in all, a very enjoyable experience, but depends highly on your company and what you're looking for.
